Townsend® Polished Translucent Cobalt Blue Engraved Diamond Pattern with Polished Chrome Appointments Ballpoint Pen

I have a burgeoning pen collection and wanted to add a rollerball with some historical prestige. After a little research, I decided upon the Cross Townsend, since it is, after all, “the President’s pen.” I was aware of Cross pens, of course, being from New England, but this was my first purchase from your company. Let me say, I couldn’t be happier. The ink flow is smooth and significant, with feeling wet and sloppy. The barrel fits nicely in my hand, even unposted, which is my preference. The black and gold color way is so classy and mates perfectly with my Mont Blanc 164 ballpoint and Pilot Custom 823 fountain pens. Even with those other pens, the Townsend is generally what I reach for first at my desk. My only complaint is that the two sections sometimes of the barrel loosens with use. Nothing significant, and a slight twist corrects it, but it is slightly annoying. Overall, however, this has become my favorite writing instrument and one I use everyday. Thank you for a quality product that, I’m sure, I’ll have for a lifetime.
