The writing is absolutely unmatched and instead of tossing plastic, you refill and write with precision and class each time. They are 100% worth it and a successful, true to the nation American company. Their goal is outstanding product, not spreadsheets.

This is the second of two pens I purchased as a self-gift, alongside a lacquer blue pen. I've always enjoyed the Classic Century pens. This black with gold trim pen. I chose to have engraved in the matching gold color, and as expected it looks great. Absolutely no issues with writing, the slim profile fits well in a shoulder pocket. I admit, I bought two of the Century pens, in case for whatever reason the first one walks away!
