CROSS is a fantastic, proven craft company. They produce the best writing utensils on the market by taking every aspect of their creating into account, including durability. I have the Vintage dark blue Pen & Pencil set with decorative inlaid 23K Gold accents & leafing. The writing is absolutely unmatched and instead of tossing plastic, you refill and write with precision and class each time. They are 100% worth it and a successful, true to the nation American company. Their goal is outstanding product, not spreadsheets.

I love the feel of my Cross Medalist and Classic pens and pencils. After 40 years, nothing feels as good in my hand. The only problems I have are finding eraser refills and the fact that that I have lost three pencils because others recognize the quality and balance of these fine writing instruments.
ACA.T. Cross1 year agoHi Ronald! Wow, 40 years of Cross ownership - now that's true loyalty! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your Classic Century Medalist pens and pencils still feel perfect in your hand after all these years. That's exactly what we strive for with our craftsmanship. We have to chuckle about your "lost" pencils though - it sounds like others definitely recognize quality when they see it! As for those eraser refills, we completely understand the frustration and we're always working to keep our accessories well-stocked. Thank you for being such a dedicated Cross customer for four decades - customers like you are the heart of what we do!

I received the gold classic set with the cream colored leather pen holder in the early 80’s as a Christmas gift. It was engraved with my first and middle initial and last name. I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world to own such a prestigious pen. Although I no longer have that surname, I still carry the set in my handbag and It writes as well as it did when I received it. I own several Cross pens and sets, but this set is the most cherished.
