I decided to start a journal project and wanted to get a good pen for it. Growing up my mom had a matched pen and pencil set, so I knew I wanted to get a Cross as well.
Since I had never had a fountain pen I wanted the Bailey Light to test the waters. I am so far very impressed with it! I am truly enjoying the writing experience and can't wait to add more pens in the future.
My one dislike would be the clip, it is a bit stiff and not the best pen clip I have used in the past. But even still, it functions well, just not "refined"

I was so impressed with the build quality of the first item I purchased, in the Bailey Light line, that I returned to Cross' website for another 4 items in that line. They're all right at home in my casual office.

Writes so smooth and beautifully, looks far more expensive than it is. I own a number of Cross pens, but this is my Cross fountain pen. I love it!
